I don't think you're missing anything Dan, I do think most times the hype is build up because it will sell better.
That's one of the reasons I have a tendency to like indie or smaller companie's games better. The big ones are just too worried about how their products will sell.

If driving less than 30k kilometers since Jun/07 had an advantage, that was not being able to get _really_ bored.
But the way I see LFS changed a lot during that time. From lots of pick-up racing to mostly league-oriented driving. I still join CTRA, but after two or three races I can't be bothered to drive anymore and just sit on the server watching and chatting.
With leagues is a different matter entirely. I really enjoy the process of setting up the car for the upcoming combo, trying different things, talking to/watching those I'll race against etc. And those last minutes before the event starts are very exciting.
Having a team with friends really help being close to LFS as well.

1: it was in 1995, with a wet/dry qualify;
2: he was banned for one race after dangerously blocking D.Hill.

That's what happens on real cars. At least the fuel injected ones.
I think the main purpose is not to prevent stalling, but to be able to drive slowly without needing to press the gas pedal. Very useful on traffic jams.

Well after further inspection that was the only problem. 
I was worried about Jakub's points as well because it doesn't make sense to have 25 points, but that was due to system problems (he was eliminated when he shouldn't, so was given points).
So Zeug has received the outrageous amount of 1 point, and everything is fine now.

Downloaded and watched the 600mb version now, soooo much better. The quality of the video is quite impressive.

And there's so many people that I don't know, it's hard to tell - sure I could look for all of them in the registration thread, but...Is it possible to have an information regarding the GTR classes on the tracker? I mean between GT1 and GT2, so we can know wich PBs were made with restricted cars?

The finals were way too tense for me, you can't really give Nolan any room or he'll have you! I had one chance to pass him I think but he defended suberbly. And after the contact the final gap was so small but I was happy he won as he was obviously the best driver there!

Good to see another RSC. Dan I wouldn't worry that much about not having all that stuff you said, afterall this is the best league I've participated when it comes to what really matters: racing. But I'm sure you could get someone to do those things?

Changing subjects, just saw the synchronized swimming (or whatever it's called) and the russian ladies won with max score! All judges gave them 10!! That's incredible!
